with 2 comments

You may have read our post a few weeks ago explaining some of the keyboard shortcuts which we think are essential for anyone who works with computers. Hopefully you have learned a few and put them into practice. Why not comment on the post; let us know which are your favourites and whether they have sped up your daily tasks. Now here are a few more for you, specifically for Windows 7 this time, which we hope will be useful. If there are any tasks you do frequently and want to know a shortcut for, just let us know and we will publish a post dedicated to your requests.

Before we get started with the shortcuts, here are a few of the essential keys that you will need and how to find them:

Keyboard Shortcuts:

  1. Ctrl+Shift+N to create a new folder when using Windows Explorer
  2. Open a program as admin with Ctrl+Shift+Click to open
  3. WIN+Space to show desktop
  4. WIN+DOWN to minimise selected window, +UP to maximise it
  5. On dual monitor WIN+SHIFT+LEFT/RIGHT to move selected window to other screen
